The Cathedral of Quito constitutes the main temple of the government of the secular clergy and of the archbishops, bishops and other ecclesiastical dignities and is the temple in which the Te Deums or ordination of the secular clergy and other important religious ceremonies are realized.

There is a fireplace and space for cooking, but you have to bring your own sleeping bag and extra clothes, since the temperature is colder there.
